We have a number of services and clinics available at our practice all requiring an appointment. In order to attend an appointment only clinic or surgery, please ring the reception or follow any details provided with the clinic information.
List of Services and Clinics
Phlebotomy and ecgs– are carried out on a daily basis by our fully trained complement of Nurses in our treatment room or by our Primary Care Assistant.
Baby clinic– Monday 3pm to 4.30pm appointments pre-arranged by North East Primary Care Services Agency.
Chronic Disease Management– eg Diabetes, CHD, COPD, Asthma, Hypertension. All of our Chronic Disease Clinics are ran by our Nurse Practitioner. Simply contact reception in person or by telephone and we will make the appropriate appointments for you. Please be aware you may need more than one appointment depending on your condition/s.
Midwife Appointments -Thursday 1:30pm to 5pm. All appointments can be booked via telephone or by visiting the surgery.
An appointment for Cervical Cytology (smears),Cryotherapy, Smoking Cessation and Contraceptive advice can be arranged with our Practice Nurse. All appointments can be booked by telephone or by visiting the surgery.
An appointment for Holiday vaccinations can be arranged with our Practice Nurse. All appointments can be booked telephone or by visiting the surgery. A holiday Vaccination form must be completed in advance. These are available from the surgery upon request and will shortly be available to download from this website.
Ear Syringes– are carried out by the treatment room nurse each Tuesday morning after 11am and Wednesday afternoons 1:30 onwards. Please ensure you book an appointment in advance. Please note that a GP must have checked your ears in advance and agreed to this proceedure to take place.
If you cannot attend the surgery in these preset appointment times we will endeavour to find a mutually convenient time. However this may not be possible on every occassion.
